TAROT HAIKU
Why push life so hard
There is hardly any flow
Make life like water
And around again comes the wheel… And where might you be positioned in the circle?
For me… tho’ we start the 1-9 numbers again today, in the tarot cards, 10 is that number just past completion. Not simply starting all over again within the ‘1’ energy; there is a pause in a state of ‘over the top’, one step beyond, the ‘9’.
There can be a little extreme in the ‘10’s. Maybe a bit of an exaggeration. Possibly, a bit of ‘try to hard’. That pushing at the edges of the Wheel to understand how life turns, or maybe how life needs attending to.
So, in this day of the Wheel of Fortune and her allies, the Sun, and the Magician: perhaps you might consider what exaggerations enter your life and give you opportunity, or invitation to more clearly understand the flow of your life, the around and around of your life.
If today is your birthday, these are questions to consider for the whole year. Grab one or all and see what stirs you up. Change the wording around to make it feel right for you. As you ponder these thoughts and questions, please take a moment to sit quietly and breathe. Let your breath guide you into a quiet place for the questions to have a moment to brew and shimmer. Invite your wisdom to be your guide. And remember, if overwhelm sets in, take a very little step. You have as much time as you need.
QUESTIONS TO PONDER
Where do stand in the circle of your life?
Are you pushing the edges of life to understand it better or to poke at it cause you’re confused?
How will you, how do you shine?
What new beginning is pushing at your edges to consider or take action on?
What can you do that supports that feeling of magic in the air?
If you ‘are the One’, how does your Oneness join with others?
What does the tool of ‘earth’ mean to you and how might you use it well?
What does the tool of ‘fire’ mean to you and how might you use it well
What does the tool of ‘water’ mean to you and how you might you use it well?
What does the tool of ‘air’ mean to you and how might you use it well?
What are some other names for these elements, or metaphors that you relate to? i.e. feeling grounded and stable, knowing your passion and the flame within you, listening to you heart and intuition, and getting clear and focused.
What of your own Sun will you shine on to make grow and come to fruition?
