LETTING IN THE LOVELINESS…. again

Standard

4 june 2012   >  >   6/15   >   Lovers/Devil

Good morning. I made an oopzy yesterday and did yesterdays for today.  Sorry.  It’s actually probably easier to have the day ahead be for the next day. Did that make sense?

A Lovers day.  Aaaah.  Settling into a day of relationship.  If it is your birthday, it is a whole year of delving into relationship with yourself and others.  Deepening the creative force and value of the ‘6’.

In the ‘6’ there is a great desire for harmony, there is the nurturer, the care giver, the giving of the self so that others thrive, and the focus on hearth and home.  If your number is ‘6’ (add your date of birth together) you also have a charm about you that can be irresistible. Problems rise when you have given yourself away and have nothing left for you.  It’s easy to see the Lovers in this number.

The Lovers is very much the way of the ‘6’.  Seeking partnership and connection on a heart level; really on any level.  Even for some that avoid or deny their desire or want for relationship, are actually paying a lot of attention to it by the avoidance.  And, IMO, relationships are how we deepen ourselves and find out who we really are in the land that is us.  Relationships, reflect back to us how we connect, exchange, feel love, and friendship.  How we cherish ourselves.  How is your relationship with yourself these days?

Now that Devil… well…The Devil is the trickster, he/she who sets before you choices that tease you from your path and suggest that you might want to try something different, a new fruit to flavor your life. Also, the Devil can push your denial to a higher level and invite you to go in deeper to understand that denial if you can face your fear of being loved and cared for as you are.   When you begin to question who you are and what you do, the Devil will slip into your mind, and tickle at what challenges these questions. The Devil, that little poky voice within, pushes at your marginal resolve, into something that might not be the something you had in mind.  If you know what I mean?  The Devil will challenge your relationships; the ones you have with others and the the one you have with yourself. Thus, I am of the mind that the Devil performs a gift for you on your Path of life so that you can really have a sense of your integrity, your authenticity, and how you allow harmony and love in your life.

QUESTION TO PONDER

How do you sustain harmony and balance in your life?

When do you notice that you have ‘giving yourself away’ and there isn’t enough for just you?

If the ‘Devil made you do it’, what would you have done otherwise?

What patterns rise for you when life is going well and balanced, and you get restless to stir the pot up by creating disharmony?  Why?

How do you make sure that you are taking care of yourself as well as others?

How does the ‘be-devilment’ remind you of who you really are?

How do you trick yourself into believing the unbelievable?

How will you nurture your relationships in a healthy way?

How do you make friends with your devilish side?

What would you like to do differently from your usually pattern of caregiving that still feels like you are giving and receiving?

TAROT HAIKU

You already know it

The infinite you knows all

Hear it in bird song

Hi… doesn’t it seem like there is like 37 minutes to an hour these days?  wheew..

Welcome to my Invitation Tarot and Numerology blog.  I post most days and if I don’t please, if you are so inclined, take a look at a previous day that adds up to the day I missed and take a read there.  I don’t wish to bore you with repeats and some days I’m not feeling as creative in my retelling.

In the ‘7’, there is the investigator, the analyzer, the observer; he/she who misses nothing and gathers what they know into a deeper understanding of how things work and the reason for being.  They are on a need to know bases as they tend to be suspicious of others.  ‘7’ find inspiration in everything they take interest in. There is a tenaciousness about ‘7’s’, at times even a willful fervor when something is decided, it become nearly unshakeable in the truth of it.  ‘7’ desires to be nearly perfect at something/s.

The Charioteer, shares the story of gathering, investigating, observing something they feel passionate about. giving focus to a cause, or whatever it is that they feel called into life for their own special purpose.  They will take their time and become fluent in what holds their attention.  Shear will, will drive them on.

The Tower card gives a story about what happens when the foundation of something keeps reaching beyond itself.  Reaching till it has grown into something that no longer understands or connects to the very root of what brought it into being in the first place.  And without the foundation of life secure and solid in the knowing of what it stands on, the Tower can take a tumble, needing to remember where it began and felt safest.

If today is your birthday, these are questions to consider for the whole year.  Grab one or all and see what stirs you up.  Change the wording around to make it feel right for you.  As you ponder these thoughts and questions, please take a moment to sit quietly and breathe.  Let your breath guide you into a quiet place for the questions to have a moment to brew and shimmer.  Invite your wisdom to be your guide.  And remember, if overwhelm sets in, take a very little step.  You have as much time as you need.

QUESTIONS TO PONDER

What needs to be gathered and investigated right now?

How will you give it your focus?

What incites your suspicions and how can you shift that into a positive outlook?

Is it time for you to take your project to the next level and what does that look like?

Is your foundation strong so that you can take some risks?

Have you gotten to far away from what ‘matters’ and might need to get back to basics?

What inspires you to give all of yourself to?

Does your will-fullness hold people to you or push then away and is that working for you?

Are you too attached to the outcome?

Is it time to shift your attention to something that will work better for you?

‘7’ of what?

PONDER AND RECLUSE… ‘9’ and the Hermit/Moon

Standard

8 may 2012   >   9/18  >  Hermit/Moon

GoodMorning… The canopy of trees glitter green this morning in the rising Sun.  They are almost fully expanded.  It’s beautiful.  There is comfort living beneath their spread.

TAROT HAIKU

Ponder and recluse

Take what you need in your time

There is enough Light

This day or if it’s your birthday is a time to take some quiet time and really gather your light, your unfinished business, your need for closure, whatever has been lingering in the undone zone that urges you to finish up.  Maybe you’ve been plowing through life and are drained, depleted, no time for yourself and your creative desires and dreams.  This is day to give a little bit to tidying up what has been bugging you and you feel frustrated with.  It might be a time to let go of that piece of life you keep putting off and putting off and now it’s just a thorn in your side, poking hard and undone, going no where.

‘9’, is the number for bringing-it-all-together: tying up lose ends, completing that project, that plan, that thought, so you can move on.  Being stuck in ‘9’ energy can keep things from coming to completion or missing out on an opportunity that need more action and less pondering.

Hermit ‘energy’  needs time to ponder and recluse; to gather energy in quietude and meditation so that there is more energy to have and more light to shine., more wisdom to gather and share.  There isn’t a time limit on the need for silence and gathering. And… once this time of quietude finds completion, Hermit energy is ready to give back and share what wisdom which was held in the shadows of life and is now ready to shine it out for others to see and feel.

With the Moon as your ally, take a look in those shadows of yours and drag that unfinished business into the light. The Moon, speaks to cycles, the flow of feelings and thoughts that provoke those feelings, the shadows of life, how you reflect light, and the fullness of that radiance.

The Hermit, calls to your inner wisdom, lights it up and lets it shine within and out.  He/she invites you to pay attention to what you know and how you might expand on that spiritually.

QUESTIONS TO PONDER

What wisdom have you gathered that you can honor and share?

What is your ‘light’ and how do you gather your Light and share it?

Can you take some time to just be calm and quiet with no doing?

What does it mean for you to ‘lighten up’?

Do you have project or two or three that you’d like to finish and what does that mean for you?

Can you take some down time?

What needs ‘pulling together’?

Can you honor your own needs and say no to something when you need time alone?

Who needs you to say ‘no, not now’?

Think of what the Hermit means to you and how do you feel about that expression within yourself?

What inner wisdom is urging you to pay attention to it and listen?

WESAK MOON… SUPER… ‘7’

How about that ‘Super’ Moon last night?  Here is a site that gives you info on the wonder of it.

When the moon is full, think of your own sense of fullness.  What you bring into fruition.  Remember those ‘seeds’ you planted last month or some time ago?  Those seeds of possibilities that you had hope for?  Now is time to see where they have all grown.  Are they where you want them?  How will you nurture them into all that you hoped they might be?

TAROT HAIKU

Take a leap for life

Free fall into new wonder

Risk it cause you can

Ah.. A Fools day. I love that.  22, that master number that adds to ‘4’, the Emperor, and represents The Fool in the Tarot cards, invites you to JUMP…  eek.  There is innocence in the Fool.  There is a freedom in the not being burden with things, and defined thoughts, and ways of doing this and that.  The Fool steps into life, jumps into life, falls into life, to find life, to find his/her way.  At some point in freedoms jump the Fool embraces the Emperor: order, structure, rules, definition, form, how to run that castle well and keep the kingdom steady and organized.  Then… Death comes along and says… “Hey.. ya’ll got lots of stuff, and things, and minds sets that are limiting, and over ruled and defined.  That box is seriously confining.  Time to let it go.  Time to transform limited thinking and living to give space for something fresh, alive, and new.”

And so this journey of ‘4’ comes into being with this set of Tarot cards.

The Invitation for you if this is your birthday or just another glorious day… is to consider all of the above with these questions:

TAROT QUESTIONS.

What might need ‘letting go of’ to give space for something new and improved?

Can you ‘jump’ into your life with a new idea, a refresher course in beingness?

How do you limit yourself?

What does your box look like?

What rules, structures, definitions need reevaluation?

What have you always wanted to do and were too afraid of the consequences and breaking of rules to ‘jump’ into?

What lights you up and brings you to your playful, child-like, enthusiastic self?

What does your inner child desire?

What does freedom mean to you?

Can you imagine death as a transformative experience …Figuratively speaking?

What ‘stuff’ needs to be boxed and sent to the thrift shop?

Do you need to be boxed and sent to the thrift shop?  lol

BELTANE… Passion…Balance… ’11’

Standard

1 may 2012   > 11/20/2  >  Balance/Adjustment/Lust/Aeon/Judgement/Priestess

May day… Beltane.  The celebration of Spring, fertility, planting the seed to come to fruition. What seeds do you plant to come to fruit in you life?  Love? Health?  Well-Being? Kindness? Be Here Now?  What might you write on our imaginary ribbon to gather and let go of as you dance the Maypole?

Happy Beltane day to you.

Quick to return to the ‘2’.  In the tarot, this is a ‘2’ day that brings us to ‘11’.  Depending on the deck you use, it is either Justice, Adjustment, Balance, Strength, Lust, Passion.  All these bring about the integration and exchange of differences, and seeing what is beyond what can be seen.

Today is a day, a year to give yourself to your passions;  that fire in your belly, that desire you have yearned for, that recreation of what ‘turned-you-on’ and you let it fizzle away…what you wish to shine up and give luster to.  It is a time to notice what internal dialogue you have going on about what lights you up, and is it the kind of conversation with yourself that you are enjoying.  This is a day or year, should it be your birthday, to look beyond the veil of your limited mind and feel from your intuition or your gut a larger possibility.  It might not be the whole truth and it might be a bit more inspired information to ignite your passion.

Feeling and noticing your inner urges to express yourself.  Finding ways to be appropriate in that exchange between what inspires you and what feels right.

‘11’ finds it way to the ‘2’, and the Priestess… the number of exchange, finding counsel within yourself or finding counsel in a trusted friend or therapist.  Sitting quietly and allowing yourself to feel and see beyond the veil between what is obvious and what lies hidden.

And… lastly, within the story of the Aeon/Judgement card rests the call to accountability.  Discerning what is presented before you and making ‘judgement calls’ appropriately.

QUESTION TO PONDER

What inspires you to get up each morning?

How might you shine up your life and buff it to sparkle?

Who needs you to counsel them without it being about you?

Do you need counsel now to get out of a rut?

What sits right in front of your face that gets in the away of your seeing the totality of all you can be?

What seeds of life and inspiration, luster and passion do you plant now so they can bloom in your summer?

How might you put a Spring in your step and a seed in your earthly life?

What have you been talking about and pondering that now needs to rise up and feel the light of your action?

What have you needed to say that you have put off?  How can you say it lovingly?

How do you balance your busy mind with trusting your intuition?

How do you give trust to your intuition?

What do your instincts tell you?

Magical recipe

Prisms possibilities

Infinite limits

Good morning.  I’m a hairdresser and I’m at a hairshow this weekend and today is a great day to stir the pot and see what happens when you snip this, clip a little of that, color a swatch of hair and see what happens.  Yippee.

I love a day of Art and the gathering of resources.  A day of ‘5’ and outta the box.  Art/Alchemy, invites you into the gift of creativity in a way that is about considering the magic that is around and with-in you. Are you ready to take some creative risks?.  Considering turning stone into gold.  I know, Right?  The impossible meets the unlike; you stir those together and you get….. it’s a mystery.  They may work, they may not, and maybe you try it again.  Hopefully you try it again and risk the wonder of finding a new path, a new thing, a new way to express yourself.

The Hierophant is a spiritual leader who gathers and shares information; resourcing the ways of the world and the inherent diversity of the people.  Deepening the understanding that differences and likenesses fill the circle of life with a multitude of beliefs, and that within that is magic.  The Hierophant can be an encyclopedia of life.

Imagine the wonder of these two archetypes stretching beyond the ‘box’ of life creatively resources and exploring the great beyond.  Whatever that might be for you.

QUESTION TO PONDER

How do you step out of the routine of you life and seek something different and full-filling?

What seems impossible that you would either like to step more deeply into and see what happens, or you might need to let it go?

What keeps you from exploring your creativity?

Do feel trapped in your ‘box’ and in what ways that are healthy might you reach out of that?

When you think of spiritual leader, can you imagine your own inner spiritual guide and what does he/she/they feel and look like?

What research might you need doing to take you to the next step?

Are you missing the connection to your own spiritual practice?

How might you bring a spiritual practice into your life?

What resources do you need and who do you know that can help you?

Centered single light

Senses tuned to the landing

Elemental mischief waits

Big Wheel keeps on turnin’ and turn it does.  Good Morning and thanks for taking time to visit… It is amazing to be back to the 19/10/1 day already… Zoom.  When I think of the tarot cards, the major Arcana in particular, I think of the journey of these ‘22’ card; The archetypical journey of them.  The metaphor of then in our lives.  The Fool invites us to take a risk, a chance, a gamble, and act of faith, a leap into life.  Once that jump as been made there you are.  Where?   What next?  What’s next in this journey is the Magician, the number ‘1’.  Which is the gathering of elemental tools; earth, fire, air, and water.  The gathering of the senses in a way that is deepening to what needs sensing.

Always in numerology you bring the the numbers to a single digit unless you’re dealing with the master numbers… 11-22-33-44..etc.  Right now I’m not going to speak of these cause it will complicate my brain in the telling.

Since I follow that path of Tarot Constellations, a path defined by Mary Kay Greer, I include the numbers of the Major Arcana that add to the single digit …Thus, ‘19’, the Sun, adds to ‘1’ as does the Wheel of Fortune, in the ‘10’.  They become related, allied to each other.  And the make for me, a deeper impression of the singular numbers.

The Wheel has come around a lot this year, in the way I add them together, rather than the Sun, or the Magician.  Rather than add them across I add them like this

      19

      04

  2012

  2035  2+3+5 = 10…  the Wheel

Of course it adds down to ‘1’ which would make any numerologist happy.  And.. I like to play with these cards and expand that ONE energy to include it’s allies.

So…. What you can know about each of these cards is that it is individuated.  It’s about you and how you stand in the center of yourself or not.  HOw you move within the wheel of life and how you shine, and hold your light as the Sun does.  And how you gather the tools of your life and use them to their highest good.

You are welcome to go and read other info I have written on other days about this.

TAROT QUESTIONS TO PONDER

How do you stay centered in yourself and if not how will you?

How will you push your edges and try to expand a little bit more?

What does the wheel of your life look like and how does it turn?

What new beginning is pushing at your edges to consider or take action on?

What can you do that supports that feeling of magic in the air?

If you ‘are the One’, how does your Oneness join with others?

What does the tool of ‘earth’ mean to you?

What does the tool of ‘fire’ mean to you

What does the tool of ‘water’ mean to you?

What does the tool of ‘air’ mean to you?

How can you use these tool to move with changes and turns of your life?

WISDOM’S LIGHT #9/HERMIT/MOON

18 april 2012   >   9/18   >    Hermit/Moon

TAROT HAIKU

Shadow mystery waits

Inner light makes rotation

Dark to light night sky

Mornin’  Happy Birthday if it’s yours and if it’s just another glorious day, Yippee.  If it’s your birthday, you get this card and number for the WHOLE year.  lucky you.

Today the Hermit and #9 take this days stage for consideration.  In the ‘bringin’ it all together’, often on behalf of the larger whole, in the 9, the Hermit lays claim to the same idea and feelings.  There is the taking of time to meditate and ponder what needs more time to ponder, or is ready to be the last piece in the puzzle.  At least for the moment.  Hermit energy is quiet, calm, introspective, often more expansive in the consideration of everything and everyone. The humanitarian is a part of the ‘9’ as it is in the Hermit.  And there is an innate wisdom that goes deeply spiritual.

The Moon, with all her moods, and shifts, and cycles allies the Hermit by always bringing her pattern together every 29 days or so.  She takes her time in the darkness and shadows to full-fill the night sky.  I guess one of the things I notice is that ‘bringing-it-all-together’ is a difficult task when the light shifts and glows in ways that inhibit clarity at times.  And you sit in the shadows longer than perhaps serves what needs doing.  Does that make sense?
