INVITATION TAROT/NUMEROLOGY DAILY … 11 …Hanged One

One of the invitations in the Hanged One’s card is, as you notice the life you live and what whirls and twirls within and around your life, is to relax for awhile, look at life from all it’s many angles and facets;  begin to notice the world from a new perspective.  It’s the play within the new possibilities, the gift of ‘hangin’ out’ without really taking action on anything in particular till you feel moved to do so.

THe Universe tags in and speaks to that waits just at the portal of decision time when you step through and into a more expanded view of all that is.

The Empress nurtures the way, giving guidance and the invitation to creatively try many things before settling into your Heart’s Desire.

‘12’ lead to the ‘3’ in numerology and that invitation is about inclusivity and exclusivity.  A trinity of what happens when two get together and another thing is born.  Something, someone new is brought into the conversation, to be heard and noticed.  The process is an incredibly creative one when two give themselves to it.  So, within the Hanged One is the opportunity to ‘be’ and to engage with others or a quest of sorts, to notice what works or doesn’t.  Making no hurried choices till that ‘birthing’ feels right.

It doesn’t seem like it takes long to make it through number days does it?  Already back to the beginning.

Today… Is a Wheel of Fortunate day.  A day for the wheel of life to turn and turn again; Up, down, left, right.  What goes up comes down and back up.  It’s all about where you stand in your wheel of life.  Centered?  At the edges? Hanging on for dear life?  All these ways of being connected to your life will happen and happen again.  Where ever you are in this cycle/circle, your attitude will be what supports you in the traveling.  Are you a victim of your life or do you hold yourself accountable for what happens within and around you?  It’s about you today and if it’s your birthday it’s about you alllll year long.

‘10’ leads you to ‘1’.  The beginning.  Once the fool has jumped into life, the Magician gathers the tools of life… earth, fire, air, and water, to create a life worthy of living.

In the  number ‘8’, is the management of your resources, your time, your money, and the consideration of how you control and have power; how you lead yourself and others.  It is considered by some, the card of Divine Order.  It will be about how you order your life, how you order your spiritual life,  how you live in the material world. and possibly how you navigate in a spirited/spiritual way.  ‘8’ can be dictatorial, and overly controlling.  Be Mindful of how you use your power. This not about ‘power over’ rather about self empowerment and leading from the heart knowing the balance of power and adjusting accordingly.

Pretty easy to see how the ‘Balance/adjustment’ card smoothly fits into the ‘8’.

Balancing the use of self power, adjusting to the influx of other energy that pushes at your edges, realizing that life is not fair and equal for everyone and maybe not for you too.  There is importance in shifting attitude to adjust to endless situations that challenge, or flow, or whatever they do in your sphere of reference,or influence.

Your ‘ally’ The Star, reminds you that staying well and healthy, knowing your vulnerability can be an asset, and that you just might be standing between ‘heaven and earth’ acting as a vehicle of change, are all part of this sense of Divine Order to be aware of, and mind-full of. In the ‘7’, there is the investigator, the analyzer, the observer; he/she who misses nothing and gathers what they know into a deeper understanding of how things work and the reason for being.  They are on a need to know bases as they tend to be suspicious of others.  ‘7’ find inspiration in everything they take interest in. There is a tenaciousness about ‘7’s’, at times even a willful fervor when something is decided, it become nearly unshakeable in the truth of it.  ‘7’ desires to be nearly perfect at something/s.

The Charioteer, shares the story of gathering, investigating, observing something they feel passionate about. giving focus to a cause, or whatever it is that they feel called into life for their own special, spiritual  purpose.  They will take their time and become fluent in what holds their attention.  Shear will, will drive them on.

The Tower card gives a story about what happens when the foundation of something keeps reaching beyond itself.  Reaching till it has grown into something that no longer understands or connects to the very root of what brought it into being in the first place.  And without the foundation of life secure and solid in the knowing of what it stands on, the Tower can take a tumble, needing to remember where it began and felt safest.

Give is to receive


Todays invitation is about relationships with others and yourself.  In the ‘6’ there is a great desire for harmony, there is the nurturer, the care giver, the humanitarian, the giving of the self so that others thrive, and the focus on hearth and home.  If your number is ‘6’ (add your date of birth together) you also have a charm about you that can be irresistible. When problems rise it most often because you have given yourself away and have nothing let for yourself.  It’s easy to see the Lovers in this number.  

The Lover’s, which is today’s card, are all of the above.  There can be a sacrifice that a LOver will give on behalf of the Loved ones.  And… if you give yourself all away in the hope of love finding you worthy, than you missed the point of it all. When there is nothing left for you to nurture and support within, there is not much if any to support anyone else.  It is easy at this point to become a victim of all that giving away and lay blame on other for not giving love in return.  Empty, hurt, and lonely, you can fester in that blame and whatever charms you had are gone.  The thing is….You are already worthy.  If you give without ‘expectation’ of any return, you give from the heart and lose nothing and blame no one.

In that vulnerability is when that trickster, the Devil seeks to ease on in to you mind.  YOur own bedevilment, not someone else’s.  When you begin to question who you are and what you do, the Devil will slip into your mind, and tickle at what challenges these questions. The Devil, that little poky voice within, pushes at your marginal resolve, into something that might not be the something you had in mind.  If you know what I mean?  The Devil will challenge your relationships; the ones you have with others and the the one you have with yourself. Thus, I am of the mind that the Devil performs a gift for you on your Path of life so that you can really have a sense of your integrity, your authenticity, and how you allow harmony and love in your life.

Good morning… Sippy the coffee… relax into the morning. Letting move in and around me.  How about you?

Today, is a day to consider your Passion.  How it speaks to you, moves your heart and mind, dances on your body.  Calls you to investigate your intuition, and trust your instincts.  A day to give yourself to yourself and listen to your own counsel.  There is accountability in this card as there is in all these cards; a calling forth in life, to not so much make ‘judgement’, more like feeling the rise and call to notice where you’ve been and what you will do and be now.

‘2’, the number of communion, exchange, counsel, guidance, mediator, seeing both sides to a story; ‘2s’ care how people connect and the mysteries of togetherness.   In the Tarot, one of the ‘2s’ is the ‘11’, this is todays number  with the other ‘2s’ the allies at work to support it.

In the Crowley deck, “Lust implies not only strength, but the joy of strength exercised. It is vigour, and the rapture of vigour. (BT p. 91-92)”  It is that ‘vigour’ that we’re talking about here; that taking charge, feeling your vulnerability and finding strength in that.  Not letting the overwhelm of life take charge of you rather you taking charge of it.

In the ‘20’, Aeon/Judgement, there is the calling to accountability, really ‘seeing’ life from a higher perspective, understanding the timelessness of it all, knowing where you’ve been and feeling yourself fully present right now.

In the Priestess, there is the invitation to what is beyond what we can see, the exchange with the inner world of mystery and personal counsel.  The knowing that in the silence and quest for deep spiritual knowledge; it is in the listening to your quiet wisdom.

Hey… It’s all about you. First via the Wheel of Fortune in the ‘10’. The Wheel of Fortune, is the Circle of Life, turning and changing,  up and down, east and west; inviting you in to the center where the journey is more steady and focused, where you’re not hanging on the to edges, clinging to life and getting whipped around.  

 A day of being #1, knowing your Oneness, knowing that you are at One with all there is and all you are.  The Magician has all the tools you need;  earth, fire, air, and water, that translates to; what you do, how you hold true to yourself and your passion, how you get clarity, how you feel, and what your heart speaks to you of.  The Sun shine directly on you to help you flourish and see where you’re going and how you’re growing. INVITATION TAROT/NUMEROLOGY DAILY…’9’…THE HERMIT

TARTO HAIKU

 

Hold your beacon out

Light the narrow path homeward

Ships seek the lighthouse

 

A month changes and the number sequence shifts.  ‘9’ returns with the Hermit and the Moon for another day.  Another day to bring it all together.  For me, I find myself taking a survey of the last few days or the last week, maybe even the months and consider what is left to do to bring what I started together.  Is it ready yet?  Am I ready yet?  What piece of it needs more consideration?  ‘9’ brings it all together.  It seeks completion in a cycle, a project, a thought, a pattern.  It might be that there is more to consider before the coming together can occur.

The Moon, being all about cycles is the perfect compliment to the ‘9’.  A pattern of 28 days from dark to full to dark again and again.  I like to think of the moon’s cycles as a time to plant a seed of to consider, start a project, lay the ground work for my heart’s desire, then let it unfold as the Moon comes to here fullness and shine a light on journey of my desire.

The Hermit expresses his/her ‘9ness’ by gathering her Wisdom, feeling it fill her up and then lighting a Path to that Wisdom for other’s to see.  Some people are a joyful expression of life and reflect it out into the world.  I think of those as ‘Hermit kind of people’  Their light shines and we feel attracted to it.  We want some of it.  Hopefully, it becomes clear that their reflection is an opportunity to realize our own Light and Wisdom; our own joy.

Light reflective Path

Wisdom gathers momentum

Dance in the Moon light

 

Leap day… One more day to our year.  So on this final day of February, we have the Moon and the Hermit holding the ‘9’, the number of ‘pulling-it-all-together’.  It is not a full moon yet, which I often consider a time to consider your ‘fullness’ and still, today brings us ‘9’ and a day or birthday year of perusing what you’ve done, maybe that’s been over the past few days, or the last weeks, months, and deciding if now is the time that completion can occur.

The Moon invites the cycles of life, feelings, and light related to the Sun, the Earth, and the Moon.  LIght of any kind can produce shadow and there are times resting in the shadows is a wise time.  A waiting time to come into your fullness.
