Good morning… It’s very green out there in my visual world.  Quiet and grey today, making the Spring green pop.  Lovely.

I’m noticing that so far this year, we have had more Hanged One/12/3/21 days than any other day.

I hesitate to make some significance out of it only that I’m noticing, and perhaps the message is that it’s REAlly time to look at life from a new perspective, improve our nurturing skills and view the Universe as something that is a part of us rather than what surrounds us infinitely.  I’m just sayin’…. and with that said…

Today is a day for the Hanged One.  A ‘12’ leading to the ‘3’.  With the ‘21’ sending Universal reminders.  This is day/ or year, if it’s your birthday, to consider a new perspective in your life.  To take a creative view of how you have thus far aligned your life and now might need to turn it a little upside down to look at it from another angle or two.  You might already have been feeling that life has turned you upside down and whether you were ready or not.. hahah.  here you are, and now what?  I am of the thought that If you don’t know what to do, ‘hang’ with the moments till you feel the time is ready and right.  The deal is that you may have to take your time and be patient with yourself and others while the process and perspective brews.  The Empress as your sidekick here, invites you to think creatively and nurture a new possibility.  Have some fun with it and life and risk making a few mistakes and consider yourself highly creative. The Universe, your other ally here, pushes at the edges of your life from a broader perspective, reminding you that you are indeed part of Infinite wisdom and only need to allow yourself to tap into that vastness.

What new perspective might you need to consider?

How can you be more patient with yourself and others?

What is a Universal ‘truth’ for you and how might you pay attention to it?

How do you nurture the world around you?  What might you do a bit better?

How do you feel about just letting go of your attachment to making a decision right now?

What one thing might you do to expand your view of the world?

Is there a class or creative project that is waiting for you to take action?

What does it feel like to wait and then maybe wait a little more and know that that is perfect?

What do you take soooo seriously that gets in the way of your joy?

How can you nurture yourself?  What does that mean anyway?

Can you create one day/evening a week for simply having fun?

BELTANE… Passion…Balance… ’11’

May day… Beltane.  The celebration of Spring, fertility, planting the seed to come to fruition. What seeds do you plant to come to fruit in you life?  Love? Health?  Well-Being? Kindness? Be Here Now?  What might you write on our imaginary ribbon to gather and let go of as you dance the Maypole?

Happy Beltane day to you.

 

Quick to return to the ‘2’.  In the tarot, this is a ‘2’ day that brings us to ‘11’.  Depending on the deck you use, it is either Justice, Adjustment, Balance, Strength, Lust, Passion.  All these bring about the integration and exchange of differences, and seeing what is beyond what can be seen.

 

Today is a day, a year to give yourself to your passions;  that fire in your belly, that desire you have yearned for, that recreation of what ‘turned-you-on’ and you let it fizzle away…what you wish to shine up and give luster to.  It is a time to notice what internal dialogue you have going on about what lights you up, and is it the kind of conversation with yourself that you are enjoying.  This is a day or year, should it be your birthday, to look beyond the veil of your limited mind and feel from your intuition or your gut a larger possibility.  It might not be the whole truth and it might be a bit more inspired information to ignite your passion.  

Feeling and noticing your inner urges to express yourself.  Finding ways to be appropriate in that exchange between what inspires you and what feels right.  

‘11’ finds it way to the ‘2’, and the Priestess… the number of exchange, finding counsel within yourself or finding counsel in a trusted friend or therapist.  Sitting quietly and allowing yourself to feel and see beyond the veil between what is obvious and what lies hidden.

And… lastly, within the story of the Aeon/Judgement card rests the call to accountability.  Discerning what is presented before you and making ‘judgement calls’ appropriately.

UPSIDE DOWN AGAIN… 12 … HangedOne/Empress

Hi there.  The last day of April.  Does time seem to be flying?   It’s zooming in my world.  And today is an April shower.  The thing is, is that most of the spring flowers have come and gone and summer blooms are ready to burst.  Kinda crazy.

Goodday… And why not make that so.. Right?  How will you make this day good?

 

It’s all about you in a certain sort of way. A day of being #1, knowing your Oneness, knowing that you are at One with all there is and all you are.  It is about how you initiate your life, how you stand centered and your sense of personal awareness.  In considering The Wheel of Fortune, which can represent the Circle of Life; turning and changing,  up and down, east and west, ever inviting you in to your center where the journey of life is more steady and focused. That center can be where the Sun shine directly on you to help you flourish and see where you’re going and how you’re growing.

 The Magician has all the tools you need;  earth, fire, air, and water, that translates to; what you do, how you hold true to yourself and your passion, how you get clarity, how you feel, and what your heart speaks to.

INNER AND OUTER LIGHT… ‘9’ … HERMIT/MOON

A bright morning to you.  Take a breath into your day and fill up then let it go.  Again.  A great day to be alive and present with and in your life.  Enjoy every moment.

  This day or if it’s your birthday is a time to take some quiet time and really gather your light, your unfinished business, your need for closure, whatever has been lingering in the undone zone that pokes at you to finish up.  Maybe you’ve been plowing through life and are drained, depleted, no time for yourself and your creative desires and dreams.  This is day to give a little bit to tidying up what has been bugging you and you feel frustrated with.  It might be a time to let go of that piece of life you keep putting off and putting off and now it’s just a thorn in your side, undone, going no where.

 

  ‘9’, is the number for bringing-it-all-together: tying up lose ends, completing that project, that plan, that thought, so you can move on.  Being stuck in ‘9’ energy can keep things from coming to completion or missing out on an opportunity that need more action and less pondering.  

  Hermit ‘energy’ doesn’t need time to ponder and recluse; to gather energy in quietude and meditation so that there is more energy to have and more light to shine., more wisdom to gather and share.  There isn’t a time limit on the need for silence and gathering. And… once this time of quietude finds completion, Hermit energy is ready to give back and share what wisdom which was held in the shadows of life and is now ready to shine it out for others to see and feel.

    With the Moon as your ally, take a look in those shadows of yours and drag that unfinished business into the light. The Moon, speaks to cycles, the flow of feelings and thoughts that provoke those feelings, the shadows of life, how you reflect light, and the fullness of that radiance.

The Hermit, calls to your inner wisdom, lights it up and lets it shine within and out.  He/she invites you to pay attention to what you know and how you might expand on that spiritually.

Back on track.  Did you miss me?  ; )  Sorry, about yesterday’s failure to post.  It’s up now so All is good.  I hope.  I’m sure of it.  I must have let my chariot ride me too far up and out.  I usually pull a card in tandem with the daily card.  The question I hold when I ‘pull’ the card from the deck is.  What might I be reminded of through this day that is for the highest good.  lately, I have been pull the ‘6’s, several of them repeatedly and yesterday I pulled the 2 of swords which I seem to pull often.  Anyone else pull a card for the day?  And what question do you ask?

Today’s invitation or your birthday year, comes from the number ‘8’ and the tarot card Balance/Adjustment, along with it’s Tarot ally, The Star (#17). Some tarot-authored decks, differ on the # 8 Major Arcana; Strength/Lust or Justice/Balance.   I made a choice to use Crowleys delineation making the ‘8’ card Balance/Adjustment/Justice. Simply, a personal choice.  Within either choice is the opportunity to consider how you balance and adjust your life; how you consider the choices you make to address inner conflict, or trusting what you know is the way to sustain equality within yourself and around you.  I think there is a tending to life in a way that is supported by noticing how you feel, and trusting your intuition and instincts.  Getting to far from the center of yourself will cause imbalance.  There is this constant flow in the nature of things that seems to desire balance.

Your ‘ally’ The Star, reminds you that staying well and healthy, knowing your vulnerability can be an asset.  And that you just might be standing between ‘heaven and earth’ acting as a vehicle for change.  These are all part of this sense of Divine Order to be aware of and mind-full of. 

In the ‘8’, is the management of your resources, your time, your money, and the consideration of how you control and have power; how you lead yourself and others.  It is considered by some, the card of Divine Order.  It will be about how you order your life and live in the material world.  How you manage it and others.  It can be dictatorial, and overly controlling.  Be Mindful.

 

QUESTION TO PONDER

 

What does Divine Order mean to you?

Can you be a vulnerable leader and what does that mean anyway?

In what ways can you adjust and find balance?

What is the difference for you between ‘power over’ and power shared and given?

How might you find justice in an unjust world?

What doesn’t feel fair right now that you can make feel/be a little better?

What needs to get out of the way of your sense of balance?

What isn’t working in how you manage ‘thing’ and what can you do to adjust that?

Can you let go of being perfect, or doing it ‘perfect’ so that you actually get it done?

If you feel you are on a tightrope struggling to stay balanced and centered what might you do to change this?  What needs to happen?

How will you manage your resources?

What are feeling you are losing control over that maybe you need to re-calibrate what that control is?

What is your time management?

YOUR ROOTS KNOW… ‘7’ CHARIOT/TOWER

Mornin’  Seems that I didn’t post this yesterday…Sorry.  So many buttons to push to send this out to cyberspace.  Anyway… here it is.  A bit of a repeat  of other days with ‘7’.

 

In the ‘7’, there is the investigator, the analyzer, the observer; he/she who misses nothing and gathers what they know into a deeper understanding of how things work and the reason for being.  They are on a need to know bases as they tend to be suspicious of others.  ‘7’ find inspiration in everything they take interest in. There is a tenaciousness about ‘7’s’, at times even a willful fervor when something is decided, it become nearly unshakeable in the truth of it.  ‘7’ desires to be nearly perfect at something/s.

 

The Charioteer, shares the story of gathering, investigating, observing something they feel passionate about. giving focus to a cause, or whatever it is that they feel called into life for their own special purpose.  They will take their time and become fluent in what holds their attention.  Shear will, will drive them on. 

The Tower card gives a story about what happens when the foundation of something keeps reaching beyond itself.  Reaching till it has grown into something that no longer understands or connects to the very root of what brought it into being in the first place.  And without the foundation of life secure and solid in the knowing of what it stands on, the Tower can take a tumble, needing to remember where it began and felt safest.

REAL-A-TION-SHIPS – ‘6’

Mornin’.  Love is in the air loaded with possibilities.  A real-ation-ship kinda day or year (if it’s your birthday).  ‘Getting real’ with yourself and others in that exchange between people that requires depth and integrity.  Saying what you mean from your heart. Nurturing the love and kindness of life.   Pausing before you spill some inappropriate honesty that really doesn’t serve you or a loved one.  Cause… ya’ll know that the bedevilment card lurks in the peripheral, and can feel compelled to say just about any ol’ thing to stir the pot of goodness into something not so nice.  That is the gift of the Devil: to hear that voice that has no filters before it actually pours out of your mouth.  Cause, you know when you have that funky attitude going on.  Right?

In the ‘6’ there is a great desire for harmony, there is the nurturer, the care giver, the humanitarian, the giving of the self so that others thrive, and the focus on hearth and home.  If your number is ‘6’ (add your date of birth together) you also have a charm about you that can be irresistible. Problems rise when you have given yourself away and have nothing left for you.  It’s easy to see the Lovers in this number.  

‘15’ is the Devil card… and how you get to the Devil, is by ‘1’, the magician, and ‘5’, the Hierophant.  There is certainly magic and the twirling of the element going on when the Devil is hungry, and there is that Self-righteousness, that can be in the Hierophant.  Put the whirl and twirl of magical thinking and the Self-righteousness of a person that imagines them-selves superior and you can have some negative behavior going on.

Be mind-full and kind.

How does the ‘be-devilment’ remind you of who you really are?

How do you trick yourself into believing the unbelievable?

How will you nurture your relationships in a healthy way?

How do you make friends with your devilish side?

Good morning.  I’m a hairdresser and I’m at a hairshow this weekend and today is a great day to stir the pot and see what happens when you snip this, clip a little of that, color a swatch of hair and see what happens.  Yippee.

I love a day of Art and the gathering of resources.  A day of ‘5’ and outta the box.  Art/Alchemy, invites you into the gift of creativity in a way that is about considering the magic that is around and with-in you. Are you ready to take some creative risks?.  Considering turning stone into gold.  I know, Right?  The impossible meets the unlike; you stir those together and you get….. it’s a mystery.  They may work, they may not, and maybe you try it again.  Hopefully you try it again and risk the wonder of finding a new path, a new thing, a new way to express yourself.

The Hierophant is a spiritual leader who gathers and shares information; resourcing the ways of the world and the inherent diversity of the people.  Deepening the understanding that differences and likenesses fill the circle of life with a multitude of beliefs, and that within that is magic.  The Hierophant can be an encyclopedia of life.

Imagine the wonder of these two archetypes stretching beyond the ‘box’ of life creatively resources and exploring the great beyond.  Whatever that might be for you.

How do you step out of the routine of you life and seek something different and full-filling?

What seems impossible that you would either like to step more deeply into and see what happens, or you might need to let it go?

What keeps you from exploring your creativity?

Do feel trapped in your ‘box’ and in what ways that are healthy might you reach out of that?

What research might you need doing to take you to the next step?

Are you missing the connection to your own spiritual practice?

TRANSFORMATION… death ’13’

Waken to death’s knock

leave behind yesterdays want

Good morning… thanks for you visit.

 

A lucky ‘13’ day.  That’s how I like to think of it.  A day, a year if it’s your birthday, of transformation.  Endings that give way to new beginnings.  Ridding of old ‘stuff’ to make way for the new. I think many of us our frightened of Death and what it means as it seems so final.  For me, in the Death card, I’m incline to considering the transformative aspects of death; Whether it be literal, or, which is often the case in this card, the metaphor of death.  The letting go of what doesn’t serve your life any more even though you maybe incredibly attached to it, it just might need to be let go of.  

‘4’, the Emperor likes order, structure, rules, a form to work in.  A home and family to support and give to.  Death, questions all that you possess, all that you give attachment to, be it body, mind, or spirit.   Transformation ask that you let go to let in what might better serve your life.  The Fool, well…he/she advocates surrender to the highest good, the freedom of being all of who you can be.  Jump into life fully.
