A lucky ‘13’ day.  That’s how I like to think of it.  A day, a year if it’s your birthday, of transformation.  Ending that give way to new beginnings.  Ridding of old ‘stuff’ to make way for the new.  ‘4’, the Emperor likes order, structure, rules, a form to work in.  A home and family to support and give to.  Death, questions all that you possess, all that you give attachment to, be it body, mind, or spirit.   Transformation ask that you let go to let in what might better serve your life.  The Fool, well…he/she advocates surrender to the highest good, the freedom of being all of who you can be.  Jump into life fully.

INVITATION TAROT/NUMEROLOGY DAILY … 11 …Hanged One

One of the invitations in the Hanged One’s card is, as you notice the life you live and what whirls and twirls within and around your life, is to relax for awhile, look at life from all it’s many angles and facets;  begin to notice the world from a new perspective.  It’s the play within the new possibilities, the gift of ‘hangin’ out’ without really taking action on anything in particular till you feel moved to do so.

THe Universe tags in and speaks to that waits just at the portal of decision time when you step through and into a more expanded view of all that is.

The Empress nurtures the way, giving guidance and the invitation to creatively try many things before settling into your Heart’s Desire.

‘12’ lead to the ‘3’ in numerology and that invitation is about inclusivity and exclusivity.  A trinity of what happens when two get together and another thing is born.  Something, someone new is brought into the conversation, to be heard and noticed.  The process is an incredibly creative one when two give themselves to it.  So, within the Hanged One is the opportunity to ‘be’ and to engage with others or a quest of sorts, to notice what works or doesn’t.  Making no hurried choices till that ‘birthing’ feels right.

Life finds itself circling

It doesn’t seem like it takes long to make it through number days does it?  Already back to the beginning.

Today… Is a Wheel of Fortunate day.  A day for the wheel of life to turn and turn again; Up, down, left, right.  What goes up comes down and back up.  It’s all about where you stand in your wheel of life.  Centered?  At the edges? Hanging on for dear life?  All these ways of being connected to your life will happen and happen again.  Where ever you are in this cycle/circle, your attitude will be what supports you in the traveling.  Are you a victim of your life or do you hold yourself accountable for what happens within and around you?  It’s about you today and if it’s your birthday it’s about you alllll year long.

‘10’ leads you to ‘1’.  The beginning.  Once the fool has jumped into life, the Magician gathers the tools of life… earth, fire, air, and water, to create a life worthy of living.

Quiet waits answers

All is hidden within you

Heart has much to say

 

A Hermit kinda day.  I don’t think of the Hermit as some recluse being hiding in a cave or remaining hidden from others for extensive periods of time.  Which isn’t to say Hermit ‘energy’ doesn’t need time to ponder and recluse; to gather energy in quietude and meditation so that there is more energy to have and more light to shine., more wisdom to gather and share.  There isn’t a time limit on the need for silence and gathering. And… once this time of quietude finds completion, Hermit energy is ready to give back and share what wisdom was held in the shadows of life and shine it out for others to see and feel.

‘9’, is the number for bringing-it-all-together: tying up lose ends, completing that project, that plan, that thought, so you can move on.  

This day or if it’s your birthday is a time to take some quiet time and really gather your light, your unfinished business, your need for closure, whatever has been lingering in the undone zone that pokes at you to finish up.  Maybe you’ve been plowing through life and are drained, depleted, no time for yourself and your creative desires and dreams.  This is day to give a little bit to tidying up what has been bugging you and you feel frustrated with.

On one toe standing

The twig dances in the wind

Prepare for landing

 

In the  number ‘8’, is the management of your resources, your time, your money, and the consideration of how you control and have power; how you lead yourself and others.  It is considered by some, the card of Divine Order.  It will be about how you order your life, how you order your spiritual life,  how you live in the material world. and possibly how you navigate in a spirited/spiritual way.  ‘8’ can be dictatorial, and overly controlling.  Be Mindful of how you use your power. This not about ‘power over’ rather about self empowerment and leading from the heart knowing the balance of power and adjusting accordingly.

Pretty easy to see how the ‘Balance/adjustment’ card smoothly fits into the ‘8’.

Balancing the use of self power, adjusting to the influx of other energy that pushes at your edges, realizing that life is not fair and equal for everyone and maybe not for you too.  There is importance in shifting attitude to adjust to endless situations that challenge, or flow, or whatever they do in your sphere of reference,or influence.

Your ‘ally’ The Star, reminds you that staying well and healthy, knowing your vulnerability can be an asset, and that you just might be standing between ‘heaven and earth’ acting as a vehicle of change, are all part of this sense of Divine Order to be aware of, and mind-full of. (that was a long sentence, whew)

Will your focus straight

Heart knows the matter of things

Trust what you believe

 

In the ‘7’, there is the investigator, the analyzer, the observer; he/she who misses nothing and gathers what they know into a deeper understanding of how things work and the reason for being.  They are on a need to know bases as they tend to be suspicious of others.  ‘7’ find inspiration in everything they take interest in. There is a tenaciousness about ‘7’s’, at times even a willful fervor when something is decided, it become nearly unshakeable in the truth of it.  ‘7’ desires to be nearly perfect at something/s.

The Charioteer, shares the story of gathering, investigating, observing something they feel passionate about. giving focus to a cause, or whatever it is that they feel called into life for their own special, spiritual  purpose.  They will take their time and become fluent in what holds their attention.  Shear will, will drive them on.

The Tower card gives a story about what happens when the foundation of something keeps reaching beyond itself.  Reaching till it has grown into something that no longer understands or connects to the very root of what brought it into being in the first place.  And without the foundation of life secure and solid in the knowing of what it stands on, the Tower can take a tumble, needing to remember where it began and felt safest.

Spirits voice whispers

In or out of the box wins

You already know

 

A little sippy of the coffee, and I feel brewed up for some info to share about today as I see.  

‘5’ invites the resourceful you to start gathering and thinking out of the box.  It can look like the five pointed star.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pentagram  Check this  out for more interesting info.  One of the ways I like to think of the ‘5’ is out of the box.  Yesterday, the Emperor held court and made way for the safety of the kingdom/queendom.  In ancient times the Hierophant was the spiritual director, the person that keep a close watch on what was evolving and shifting within and around the ‘dom’.  He (mostly in those day was a he) made sure there was some sort of religious, spiritual path adhered to and that he and his people keep order by gathering all the noteworthy and information for the ‘dom’ to flourish.  In some ways the Hierophant was the most important leader as he knew everything that was going on ‘out of the box’.  Nothing got pass the watchful eye of the Priest.

Today is day to keep a watchful eye.  To gather info, that is relevant to you.  Perhaps, a project needs you to dig a little deeper, or looking outside your box is necessary for your sanity.  Maybe, you feel moved by the spirit of something you can’t define and feel the urge to explore it.  If you want to know ‘everything’ than you have to go and learn about it.  Alchemy/Art, invites you to get creative with that.  Try something that you were pretty sure wasn’t going to work that way and do it anyway.  Mix the unlikely with the probably not and see what happens.

Welcome and good morning.  Seems like the days fly by, right?  Today is a ‘4’ day.  I keep meaning to give you the methodology that I use to include the 22 Major Arcana in the typical number system 1-9.  It is a lengthy explanation that would take more time than I have in this moment, tho’ I will at some point, or you can see if you can find Mary Kay Greers book, Tarot Constellations.  I can say that I don’t add the number straight across tho’ they will indeed get you to a single number as all methods will.  I add the number up like this….      5

                                   2020 > 2+2 = 4   thus the Emperor

 

Death #13 and The Fool #0 are part of the ‘constellation’ ‘4’.  Why the Fool?  Well, in The Major Arcana there are ‘22’ cards.  The Fool being ‘0’. thus the Fool takes on the 22cd card which adds to ‘4’.  Since I want to include the Tarot in this Invitation of Tarot and numerology, I want all the Major Arcana, so I add them up this way to get to the first Tarot card which might be a double digit. It might have added to 13 today which would have made today lend itself more to transformation; endings and new beginnings which is a bit different than the Emperors desire to put things in order: to give form and structure, rules and securities to the ‘kingdom/queendom’.  Always…. I include the numerical compliment of each Tarot card so that you can have a feeling for some of the energy that is assisting the primary card, which for today is the  Emperor.

 Have I confused you completely?  Sorry if I have.  Basically, today…. get your house in order, a day to see what needs doing and what needs to be done with.  Look at those piles of stuff or that thing you were going to move around, or that list that keeps building up and not attended to, and get busy.  The Emperor of you has got some business to attend to today.

What agreements did you make with yourself to get things done and they are not done even a little?

Can you make new agreements with yourself to get things back on track?

If you share space with another are you keeping your agreement of order together?

And if not what might you do to get back on track there?

Does the Emperor of you need a little help and who can help you best?

(The Emperor knows who does what best and can delegate very well)

Passion deep within

Listens to the counsel call

Know all of thy self

Good morning… Sippy the coffee… relax into the morning. Letting move in and around me.  How about you?

Today, is a day to consider your Passion.  How it speaks to you, moves your heart and mind, dances on your body.  Calls you to investigate your intuition, and trust your instincts.  A day to give yourself to yourself and listen to your own counsel.  There is accountability in this card as there is in all these cards; a calling forth in life, to not so much make ‘judgement’, more like feeling the rise and call to notice where you’ve been and what you will do and be now.

‘2’, the number of communion, exchange, counsel, guidance, mediator, seeing both sides to a story; ‘2s’ care how people connect and the mysteries of togetherness.   In the Tarot, one of the ‘2s’ is the ‘11’, this is todays number  with the other ‘2s’ the allies at work to support it.

In the Crowley deck, “Lust implies not only strength, but the joy of strength exercised. It is vigour, and the rapture of vigour. (BT p. 91-92)”  It is that ‘vigour’ that we’re talking about here; that taking charge, feeling your vulnerability and finding strength in that.  Not letting the overwhelm of life take charge of you rather you taking charge of it.

In the ‘20’, Aeon/Judgement, there is the calling to accountability, really ‘seeing’ life from a higher perspective, understanding the timelessness of it all, knowing where you’ve been and feeling yourself fully present right now.

In the Priestess, there is the invitation to what is beyond what we can see, the exchange with the inner world of mystery and personal counsel.  The knowing that in the silence and quest for deep spiritual knowledge; it is in the listening to your quiet wisdom.

How can you ‘priestess’ yourself?  What does that mean anyway?

Are you ready to find out what is just beyond your sight?  Can you listen?

Who/What needs you to be clear in your communications and speak to what needs saying lovingly?

How will you become a better communicator?

INVITATION TAROT/NUMEROLOGY DAILY…’9’…THE HERMIT

TARTO HAIKU

 

Hold your beacon out

Light the narrow path homeward

Ships seek the lighthouse

 

A month changes and the number sequence shifts.  ‘9’ returns with the Hermit and the Moon for another day.  Another day to bring it all together.  For me, I find myself taking a survey of the last few days or the last week, maybe even the months and consider what is left to do to bring what I started together.  Is it ready yet?  Am I ready yet?  What piece of it needs more consideration?  ‘9’ brings it all together.  It seeks completion in a cycle, a project, a thought, a pattern.  It might be that there is more to consider before the coming together can occur.

The Moon, being all about cycles is the perfect compliment to the ‘9’.  A pattern of 28 days from dark to full to dark again and again.  I like to think of the moon’s cycles as a time to plant a seed of to consider, start a project, lay the ground work for my heart’s desire, then let it unfold as the Moon comes to here fullness and shine a light on journey of my desire.

The Hermit expresses his/her ‘9ness’ by gathering her Wisdom, feeling it fill her up and then lighting a Path to that Wisdom for other’s to see.  Some people are a joyful expression of life and reflect it out into the world.  I think of those as ‘Hermit kind of people’  Their light shines and we feel attracted to it.  We want some of it.  Hopefully, it becomes clear that their reflection is an opportunity to realize our own Light and Wisdom; our own joy.

Patterns and cycles, reflection and Light, Shadows, and hiding.

Do you hide in the shadows or do you let the Light shine on you? 

What idea, thought, feeling, project, desire do you wish to plant during the dark days to come into the Light?

What pattern gets in your way of finishing something up and what might you do to shift that?

Do you let your moodiness keep you from feeling ‘light’?

How can you let your moods be your allies?

What if…there is no completion for something and it’s time to move along and give it up?
