INVITATION TAROT DAILY and the # 1

Morning.  Today’s Invitation is about the number ‘1’ and the above constellation of Tarot cards related to the ‘1’ as well as all the Aces in the deck.  It’s all about you if you can move your ego out of the room and not be so consumed with ‘self’ that others feel negated.  ‘10’ , the Wheel of Fortune, is inviting you to look at where you settle into yourself; how you move around in the circle of your life.  Are you centered, standing on the edge holding on for dear life, or are you pushing at the edges of life?  The circle turns; sometime up and sometimes down, inviting you to know all of life’s cycles and patterns.  The Sun, ‘19’, invites you into the consideration of how you shine in the world, how light nurtures you and you help make grow into the wonderful Light you are meant to be.  The Magician, ‘1’,  invites you to consider the elemental tools (earth, fire, air, and water) literally and metaphorically, you have gathered in this life that are useful and helpful for your journey.  The Magician has a way of being creative in the welding of those elements to initiate possibilities.

INVITATION QUESTIONS…

Are you centered, standing on the edge holding on for dear life, or are you pushing at the edges of life? Where do you want to be?

How might you look to what happens positively and negatively in your life as a gift?

What are you ready to initiate and get going with?

How will you let yourself be seen and shine?

What does it mean to you to ‘shine too bright’ and take up too much space?

What elemental tool calls to you to be used and honored?

What are you grateful for?

 

If today is your birthday, these are questions to consider for the whole year.  Grab one or all and see what stirs you up.  Change the wording around to make it feel right for you.  As you ponder these thoughts and questions, please take a moment to sit quietly and breathe.  Let your breath guide you into a quiet place for the questions to have a moment to brew and shimmer.  Invite your wisdom to be your guide.

#9 Hermit/Moon.. Daily Invitation

Welcome and Peace to you.   

Todays invitation, should it be your birthday or stepping into the day with the desire to explore some questions,  is all about the number ‘9’ , the Hermit, and the Moon.  ‘9’ is the number of completion, pulling together those last final pieces of what you have been working on for some time now.  The Moon, speaks to cycles, the flow of feelings and thoughts that provoke those feelings, the shadows of life, how you reflect light, and the fullness of that radiance.  The Hermit, calls to your inner wisdom, lights it up and lets it shine within and out.  He/she invites you to pay attention to what you know and how you might expand on that spiritually.

 

What ‘pieces’ of your puzzle are now ready to be laid on the altar of your life complete?

As you rest in the ‘shadows’, gathering quiet and peace, what calls you to come out in the light?

What do you notice about the cycles and patterns of your life?  What works and what doesn’t?

Do you have a pattern in your life you’d like to change and shine more light on?

When you don’t know what to do, can you be OK with doing nothing till your inner wisdoms

knows?

Did you know that you have as much time as you need?

Is there something in your life that feels incomplete?  What would work for you to bring completion?

DAILY INVITATION TAROT/NUMEROLOGY

Todays invitation speaks to the will and focus of the Charioteer; the giving of the self to a ‘higher quest’, maybe that search for the ‘Holy Grail’. The Tower Card, speaks to what can happen when you reach far and wide, perhaps for that ‘higher quest’ that ‘holy’ grail, and lose communications/sight with your foundation; the roots of you.

‘7’is highly intuitive, spiritual, and investigative.  Not much gets passed the defined individualism of the ‘7’.  They just seem to ‘know’ and follow that no matter what anyone has to say about it.  Once they have decided on something, it’s hard to shift them into another way of viewing, feeling, seeing, it.

 

How do you secure the foundation upon which you rest?

What keeps you focused and grounded in this world?

What is your ‘holy grail’ and how do you seek it or stay focused on it?

How do you remain in tune with your intuition?

As you reach for your dreams, how will you make time, and pay attention to the ground work you laid in place for those dreams?

You have gathered and remained focused, now what will you do?

What ‘tower’ have you built that needs to come down?

How do you express gratitude for the gifts of insight, focus, and dreams?

 

If this is your birthday, than these will be the cards,number, and questions that are for the whole year.  You might want to re-write them in a way that works better for you.  You might choose only one to focus on.  If you are a Tarot person, you might pull another card in tandem with these cards and see what else invites you more deeply into your years journey.  Please feel free to share that with me if you’d like more insight.

DAILY/BIRTHDAY TAROT AND NUMBERS

It was a Full Moon in Leo yesterday and the affect of it lingers. http://planetwaves.net/astrologynews/826576389.html.  This is a link from an Astrology column by Eric Frances I follow.  I invite you to take a look for a deeper understanding of a full Moon and this particular moon.

 

Today is a Lovers/Devil kinda day.  In the tarot there are four other cards that are part of these two Archetypes/Major Arcana:  ‘6’ of wands, ‘6’ of swords, ‘6’ of hearts, and the ‘6’ of pentacles

Wands represent Fire, Swords, Air, Hearts, water, and Pentacles, Earth.  All the elements come to play on this day.  This means that the Lovers and the Devil find their work to do in these four elements that make up our bodies and the world around us.  Soon I will put up a page here that describes this more fully.

‘6’ is the nurturer, the ‘make it better’ person.  Life is all about relationships, the care of others and humanity, and the responsibility that comes with that.  ‘6’ sees the beauty in people and desires to encourage and help that along.  ‘6’ seeks comfort, balance, and harmony.  They are dedicated to those they love.  Sometime they forget to take care of themselves.  Sometimes the giving and receiving becomes confusing to their sensitivities.

 

If this is your birthday, than this is a year to consider relationships: how you love, how you give and receive love, how you take on the responsibility of caring and nurturing,  How you experience your creative nature,  how you seek comfort and harmony, how you sabotage yourself and your relationships, and most of all how you care and nurture yourself and find harmony and balance within.

Invitation Tarot Constellation

Some times I imagine this ‘constellation’ of numbers as ‘painting/singing/dancing your way out of the box’.  The box, ‘4’, being that secure, safe place that holds your possessions, your order in the world, which is a good thing, something I believe we all flourish in.  And sometimes, that box is our prison.  It holds us in ways that confine, restrict, over protect, our desire to be in the world.  ‘5’ seeks to push the edges of the box; to know what might lie beyond the confines of our small world to the larger one.  Mixing the unlikely with the improbably, gathering information, and resources.  ‘5’ wants to know how things work or don’t.  That ‘5’ pointed star that reaches for the heavens, standing securely on the Earth.  

What improbable possibility tugs at your edges?

What keeps your from stretching yourself out of the box?

Is there a spiritual resource that you desire to know more about?  What keeps you from the quest?
